Masterclass in Reproductive Medicine
Intensive clinical immersion — learning the specialty where it is practised
23–25 March 2027 · Abidjan · Limited places, per module
Reproductive medicine is a specialty in its own right, not covered by standard training in obstetrics and gynaecology. This masterclass transmits it through immersion, within a working fertility clinic.
Three intensive days of hands-on practice: observing and practising real procedures, and understanding how a centre is built and run. This is the hands-on phase of CNDT Academy: it follows the online preparation for each module and the approval of your application.
Embryology
Practice in the CNDT IVF laboratory. ICSI is presented there as a demonstration; ICSI practice is covered by CNDT ICSI LAB (September 2027).
Clinical ART
Follicular monitoring, oocyte retrieval, embryo transfer.
Conducting the fertility consultation, the female and male workup, deciding and referring at the right time.
Beyond observation, supervised hands-on participation in the procedures of the specialty: fertility ultrasound (diagnostic and interventional), and a supervised approach to oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer, alongside the experts.
Hysteroscopy
Dedicated 3-day session with Prof. Jean-Louis Benifla, with its own 8 places.
Setting up an IVF centre
The CNDT model for setting up and running a cost-controlled centre: equipment, organisation, quality, business model.

Clinical ART online preparation, “Clinical ART, from work-up to transfer”: fertility consultation, protocols, clinical reasoning and the theory behind all three procedures, shared by the three practices.
Clinical ART, from work-up to transferRegistration for the Masterclass is subject to file review. Before any payment, you submit three documents: your specialty diploma or professional qualification; a current certificate of registration with your country's medical council; proof of current practice. Files are reviewed by CNDT's medical direction. You receive a response within 48 working hours. Payment is requested only after approval. The three documents are to be sent as a reply to the confirmation email you will receive after submitting your application.
The Masterclass includes supervised participation in procedures of the specialty. This participation is decided by the CNDT medical team, procedure by procedure and participant by participant, based on each person's experience and the context. Some procedures may be attended in observation.
Two two-hour Zoom sessions precede the Masterclass and are included in the registration. They cover CNDT's organisation and protocols, the schedule of the three days, and the rules applying in the operating room and the laboratory. Attendance at both sessions is required.
Hysteroscopy: specific conditions
Two 2-hour Zoom sessions with Prof. Benifla make up the technical preparation for hysteroscopy. They are paid online, with no application, and are not included in the price of the hands-on session. Attendance at both sessions is mandatory.
The hands-on session is subject to approval of your application. Before paying for it, you send three documents: your specialty diploma or professional qualification; proof of your current registration with your country's professional council; proof of current practice. Payment for the hands-on session is requested only once your application is approved. The online preparation is paid directly, with no application.
No refunds.
A participant who misses either of the two Zoom sessions does not take part in the scheduled hands-on session. Their participation is deferred to the next session. They must then attend that session's two Zoom sessions, paying again for the online preparation (USD 300).
If CNDT cancels or moves a Zoom session, the session is rescheduled, with no deferral of the hands-on session and no extra charge.
If CNDT cancels a hands-on session, each participant chooses between deferral to the next session and a refund of the amounts paid.
The clinical procedures below can be taken during the three days, as individual modules. Monitoring, oocyte retrieval and embryo transfer share a single online preparation, required before the hands-on part in Abidjan; hysteroscopy and embryology each have their own.
