MANAGE COMPLEX CASES

Poor responders, high responders, PCOS, difficult previous cycles

Take up a record that failed and decide what changes in the next cycle.

Online

Poor response, high response and the risk of hyperstimulation, polycystic ovary syndrome, previous cycles that led nowhere: you learn to take up a record that failed and to tell what belongs to the protocol from what belongs to the patient.

The question is always the same: what changes in the next cycle? Repeating the same thing and hoping for a different result is the most common decision, and it is rarely the right one. You also work on the two conclusions that are hardest to put into words — the one where nothing is to be changed, and the one where another route has to be considered.

The format is a reasoning workshop, live on Zoom: each session starts from a real anonymised record, with what was decided, what was observed, and what was done next.

Online module: clinical reasoning on anonymised records

This module has no hands-on part in Abidjan. The work is on the decision: what is in front of you, what you conclude from it, and what you do next.
